Irish Distillers

One of Ireland's leading suppliers of spirits and wines

Consolidating security and fire services across four sites

24/7 support and reassurance

About our client:

Irish Distillers is one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of spirits and wines. Led by the best-selling Jameson Irish whiskey, the company is driving a global renaissance in the Irish whiskey market.

At the core of everything Irish Distillers does is a passion for craft, a commitment to sustainability and an ambition to create drinks that can be enjoyed worldwide.

Our client’s challenge:

Irish Distillers previously relied on multiple security and fire service providers across its portfolio of sites. Recognising an opportunity to enhance efficiency and drive cost savings, it embarked on a search for a national partner to meet all of its man-guarding, fire and security system needs.

At the same time, Irish Distillers wanted to work with an organisation committed to going above and beyond for its people, products and properties. It sought a provider with integrity and a proven track record of excellence.

Plus, with ambitious carbon-neutral goals, the company ideally wanted a partner that embedded sustainability into its approach.

Project impact:

Following a competitive bidding process, Irish Distillers selected us as its national security partner, based on our market-leading services and shared environmental values.

We were tasked with consolidating security and fire services across the company’s regional sites. These locations are highly visible and bustling with employees, visitors and logistics vehicles. To effectively maintain security and safety, we needed to take a responsive 24/7 approach.

With that in mind, our security experts architected a bespoke strategy for the company. We combined cutting-edge security and monitoring technologies with real-time, onsite support from our experienced manned security personnel.

Some solutions we put in place to revolutionise security included: automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system for staff car parks, designing and deploying a centralised off-site monitoring station, introducing secure fibre optic networks, IP cameras and CCTV cameras, and providing static guarding

Outcome for our client:

With these round-the-clock services in place, Irish Distillers has uncovered new efficiencies, achieved cost savings and improved operational excellence.

Moreover, the company now has the peace of mind that its sites, employees and products are secure – all while meeting Ireland’s Nearly Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB) energy rating.
